🛺 How much does a Filipino tricycle cost in the United States?

According to one of our CAL TODA builders, a complete tricycle build may generally cost approximately $15,000–$25,000, depending on the motorcycle selected, style of the sidecar, materials, customization, transportation, and other specifications.

Every tricycle is different, so this should be considered a general estimate only.

🇵🇭 Can I bring a Filipino tricycle or sidecar from the Philippines to the United States?

It may be possible to bring components, such as a Filipino-style sidecar, from the Philippines and complete the build in the United States.

Based on information provided by our builder, estimated costs may include:

Sidecar from the Philippines: $300–$4,000
Shipping: $6,000–$7,000
U.S. labor & materials: $2,500–$4,500
Motorcycle: Varies depending on the motorcycle selected.

These figures are provided as a general starting point and can vary considerably.

🚢 How much does it cost to ship a tricycle or sidecar from the Philippines?

Our builder estimates approximately $6,000–$7,000 for shipping, although actual shipping costs can vary.

Shipping rates may change, so anyone considering a build should obtain current estimates before making plans.

🏍️ Is the motorcycle included in those estimates?

The overall cost depends heavily on the motorcycle you choose. Different motorcycles, builds, materials, and customization options can change the final price considerably.

🔧 Does CAL TODA build or sell tricycles?

CAL TODA is a community of Filipino tricycle owners, riders, enthusiasts, families, and friends. We are not a tricycle dealership, manufacturer, importer, or shipping company.

However, because we receive many questions about our tricycles, we're happy to share general information from members and builders when available.

📍 I'm outside California. Can I still get information?

Absolutely! We've received inquiries from people outside California—including someone in the Philadelphia area interested in bringing a Filipino tricycle to the U.S.

While CAL TODA cannot arrange a purchase, build, or shipment, we can share general information and point you toward someone who may be able to answer more specific questions.
